Our story
Deep Dive Capital was founded by Andrea Ballarini and Michele Simonato — two technology founders who spent the first chapter of their careers building products, shipping software, and learning what it actually takes to create a company from zero.
That experience shapes how they invest. After years of operating inside the tech industry — and learning what actually separates a great company from a good one — they began deploying their own capital into the private businesses they believed would define the next decade.
Their thesis is simple. A very small number of companies will create the majority of value in technology over the next ten years. Deep Dive Capital exists to identify them, back them, and hold them.

Co-founded Eight Sleep in San Francisco, a consumer technology company focused on sleep optimization. Y Combinator alumnus.
Michele Simonato
Co-founded Empatica, a Boston/MIT-based medtech company developing clinically validated digital biomarkers.
